Green Desert Produce

We are an Enterprise dedicated to the cultivation and distribution of fruits and vegetables. Our production facilities are located in different states of Mexico and the United States. Our main objective is to distribute products in international markets focusing primarily in the United States and Canada.

Green Desert Produce has its production and packing units where we cultivate and distribute our products that are destined for the national and international markets.

All of our production units, field, and packing facilities are subject to constant audits. This is done to achieve a quality product that is free of contaminants and safe for consumption.

Facilities

We grow our products in greenhouses and in open fields. Our facilities such as our packing rooms, greenhouses, and fields, surpass the highest standards of quality and sanitation.

All of our products go through a pre-cooling station after its harvested; this is done to conserve the freshness and quality that our clients expect in each of our products.



Certifications

Food Safety Program

All of our facilities including packing and fields are subject to constant audits and certifications that guarantee quality in our products.

Primus Labs is certified by the Mexican Accreditation Body. This certification is acquired by a verification done through a third party for food safety. Primus Labs representatives will audit the ranch, our harvesting team, cooling facilities, packing facilities, processing plants, and greenhouses. These audits cover the guidelines established for the industry in food safety.

Good Agricultural Practices Certification (GAP)

Good Agricultural Practices are a collection of principles to apply for on-farm production and post-production processes, resulting in safe and healthy food.

Quality Control Program

In order to maintain the highest quality in our products, our product goes through the most rigorous testing standards. We consider the following in our testing procedure:

  1. Sanitation
  2. Physical characteristics of the vegetable after its harvested
  3. Selection process (size, color, and dimensions)
  4. Package Quality (box, plastic, tags, etc.)
  5. Verification of all requirements established for quality in order to satisfy our client's needs.
